I earned my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts Education in 2023, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. I hold a TESOL certification and have been certified through the Junior Youth Empowerment Program, a global initiative that teaches life and academic skills to youth ages 11 to 15.

My passion for education comes from the incredible professors I’ve had, whose enthusiasm and dedication inspired me to love subjects I never thought I’d enjoy. This experience shaped my tutoring approach: I make lessons engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I begin with exciting introductions to the topic, encourage participation throughout the lesson, and always include time to practice. To ensure understanding, I often have students “teach back” the material—either to me, a sibling, or a friend. I believe that teaching reinforces learning, making concepts stick.

I tutor K-12 Reading, Writing, and English Literature for 10 years in Florida. My holistic, student-led approach allows me to combine creativity with academics: for example, students will take photographs and use them as inspiration for reading and writing activities. Their imaginations flourish through this process. Additionally, I’ve led the Junior Youth Empowerment Program in my community for over 10 years, mentoring graduates to become leaders and facilitators themselves.
