"I’m Jamie! I have six years experience teaching English (five years at the high school level and one year teaching eight grade). Over the course of my time teaching, I’ve taught American Literature, British Literature, and Irish Literature (a class of my own creation!). I have a Master’s and Bachelor’s in English Literature, and have been certified to teach English in two states.

I love teaching writing and helping students perfect their rhetorical techniques! While essay writing and argument is my specialty, I also enjoy teaching literature, poetry, and SAT/ACT prep. Before I was an official teacher, I was a teaching assistant at a university and worked as a TA/teacher at an educational camp. If you count my time teaching and tutoring, I have over ten years of experience!
