"Since getting my B.A. and M.A. in English, I've taught for the Institute of Reading Development, substitute taught English in junior high and high school, copy edited several successful fantasy novels, privately tutored high school and college students in English, taught English 9, English 9 Honors, and English 10 at a private high school in California, served as a member of the Cal Poly SLO English Department Advisory Board, taught ESL in South Korea and Costa Rica, tutored countless high school and college students in ACT, SAT, GRE, and GMAT test prep, and led the English department for one of Central America's most prestigious learning and prep centers.
