"Hello, my name is Sarah! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in Learning & Technology and I am also currently enrolled in Master's of Arts program for Higher Education Leadership at Grace Christian University. I was previously an English Major, and I still maintain a passion for the subject. While in high school, I competed in numerous Journalism Events, placing at the highest possible level for my state in Headline Writing. I also placed at the highest level in several other events between my sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school.

I have developed training manuals as well as directly trained fellow employees for four years in three major areas. Two of these three major areas have involved professional settings, one of which was in a corporate office and the other in a smaller, start-up company. In the third major area, I have also volunteered my tutoring services to coworkers seeking higher education as well as youth members of my church, who I have taught one-on-one and in a group setting. I have primarily worked with teenagers and young adults, though I am willing to assist other ages as well.

My goal is to help students discover and develop their passion for the written word, as it will remain a lifetime companion. My favorite aspect of teaching involves the "lightbulb moment," where I can visibly witness a student understand a concept through my methods.
