One of my greatest pleasures is helping someone who may be just a bit hesitant to confidently speak this beautiful language. Everyone has different goals and background, but whether you want to read a French menu, dive into a French book, learn to speak more fluently, or prepare for an exam, I can help!

I have a Master's Degree in French Literature (ohh la la!), spent my Junior year in France, and studied at the Sorbonne on a Fulbright. My tutoring and teaching experience is about as extensive as it gets. For over 20 years I have taught at universities, tutored one-on-one, and also taught small classes of homeschoolers. The ages of my students have ranged from 5 to 83. I am comfortable with students who have unique "wiring", such as ADHD, depression, or brain injuries.

I can adapt my tutoring approach to whatever you would like or need: you pick how much of the class will be in French, if you want to work from a textbook, if you want to include songs, etc. I am always happy to create customized course content for my tutees!
