My academic background and work experience has given me a unique understanding of proven best practices when imparting knowledge to others. One such practice is the direct method that entails: Conducting classroom instruction solely in the target language without translation, teaching everyday vocabulary through pictures and objects, using an inductive approach for grammar instruction, encouraging students to think in the target language, correcting mistakes as they happen in class, and reinforcing correct language usage with praise.
