"I went to the United States Air Force Academy and studied Civil Engineering for my undergrad. While there I took two years off for a religious trip and had the opportunity to live in Santiago, Chile, where I learned and became fluent in Spanish.

That is what I have for degrees/skills, but since college I have dedicated most of my time to learning the art and science of flying. I currently work as a Flight Instructor, where each day I have the opportunity to teach students how to fly all over the country. This job is what has introduced a passion for instruction and teaching.

Having grown up in a small town where I knew nothing about becoming a pilot or an officer in the Air Force I consider myself a very ordinary person who has had a lot of extraordinary opportunities, all of which have been unlocked through education and hard work.
