"I fell in love with French in Middle School and keep going until I got my Phd, and now I'm teaching French. I've taught for over 20 years and have lots of experience with college students, adults, and have high schoolers myself who are taking French now, so I have plenty of experience with all types of students. I focus on a modified communicative method that ensures grammar isn't boring and is contextualized, and I share tips not only for learning French, but also for studying and habits of mind and a challenge all my students to have a "learner's mindset". On my evaluations, students report that I'm engaging, flexible, caring, and committed to helping them explore and meet their French learning goals.
