"I studied geology and environmental science in college and am pursuing a graduate degree in education to become a teacher as I want to make learning a pleasant and worthwhile experience. I’ve always enjoyed teaching others and have been willing to go the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable with the material on their own afterward. I have tutored classmates and younger students from preschool through college as part of my own educational experience in the following subjects: elementary math and language arts, elementary Spanish, geography and social studies, algebra and trigonometry, geometry, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences.
I can help with homework, preparing for quizzes/tests/exams, and/or teaching the fundamental knowledge and skills for a variety of subjects, including ones not listed above. I’m also experienced in working with students who have learning difficulties who need more specialized assistance to succeed and not fall behind their peers.
I am easy to reach, adaptable to individual and subject needs, and welcome to any helpful resources or constructive feedback. Feel free to contact me with any specific questions or to schedule a lesson!" less...
