"Hi everybody!

My name is Rachel and I’m a psychology graduate student, originally from the east coast but currently going to school in Florida. I have two Bachelor's degrees: one in Psychology and one in Criminology , and minors in Sociology and Women's and Gender Studies. I have my MA in social psychology, and I am currently getting my PhD in the same. My undergraduate professors really instilled in me a passion for learning, and it's because of them that I am so driven to pass that on to high school, undergraduate/graduate, and adult learners!

I now primarily teach social psychology, but I have experience with statistics, research methods, and introductory psychology as well and I have about four years of teaching experience at the college level. I really enjoy teaching and tutoring, and developing unique and personalized plans to help meet my students’ needs and goals. In addition to those specialty areas, one of the benefits of being a psychologist is having an insight into research on what study methods work best!
