"Hello! I’m Mary, an aspiring psychology student with a passion for language and design. I’m currently enrolled in my local community college in hopes of transferring to a four-year university and eventually getting a master’s. What really sparked my passion for the inner workings of the mind was my high school psychology teacher, who made an active effort to make his class interactive and entertaining while still informing his students. His passion for the subject inspired me to spark that similar passion in others, inspiring my tutoring approach of making everything as comprehensible for my students and/or peers as possible while inspiring fun in the process.
I have three years of tutoring experience starting in high school in which I lead study groups for math and English as well as student teaching a 10th grade classroom my senior year. While English and psychology are my strong suits, I’ve also taken math classes up to calculus and am willing to help in any way that I can.
