"Hello! My name is Martha Anne. I have been teaching AP Art History for over 26 years at the high school level in public and private schools. I also teach all levels of painting, sculpture, fiber arts, and AP Studio. I am a National Board Certified Teacher, hold a Master's in Art Education, and am an AP Mentor with College Board. I am both a classroom teacher and have been tutoring one-on-one for over 2 years online.

My philosophy is that every student I teach is smart and creative, but that is just the beginning. Discovering how to problem-solve creatively is what makes us unique. In my classes, students learn how to analyze works of art and discover how to look at images they have never seen and discuss them contextually. We "spill the tea" behind why the work was created, what made the artist innovative, and have a stronger understanding of the world of art.
