"Dear students, my name is Michael. I have extensive real-world teaching experience, as well as classroom experience teaching most biological science topics and have been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years.

I am a certified teacher in Texas and have taught at both high school and college levels. I have also tutored nursing students and graduate students. Some of the courses I've taught include: anatomy and physiology, biology (all levels), microbiology.

I have a B.S. in biology, Master's in epidemiology (magna cum laude) and am completing a Ph.D. (magna cum laude) in biology, specializing in human physiology and I prefer to teach high school and undergraduate college, nursing students, as that is where my experience resides.

My teaching style focuses on understanding the basics/fundamentals, allowing more advanced material to actually make sense. I am patient and fully understand how difficult and frustrating some of the sciences can be...I've been there.
