"My teaching experience includes 26 semesters (part-time) at the college level (math & engineering), and 2 years (full-time) at the high-school level (physics, math, & chemistry). My test scores on the Praxis® Exams for Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics Content Knowledge were in the top 15% of all high-school teaching candidates in those subject areas. In 2009, I was awarded the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award for Development Mathematics at Lorain County Community College.

I am a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio with over 40 years of professional engineering experience in private industry. My background also includes many years of private tutoring, coaching, and umpiring high school baseball & softball.

I truly enjoy teaching technical courses and I have been blessed with a gift for making abstract concepts understandable and enjoyable. I am always patient and compassionate with students who are struggling. As a teacher, I willingly provided extra help outside of class. I ask a lot of questions during lectures to keep students engaged and to help reinforce difficult concepts.
