"Hi! I’m Sasha, and I’m passionate about helping students achieve their best in science and math. I graduated from American University with a major in Biology and a minor in International Relations. Currently, I work in malaria research with a focus on cell biology while preparing for the MCAT and applying to medical schools. My in-depth biology knowledge makes me an ideal choice as a tutor, especially for students needing support in cell biology and general science.
In addition to my research, I bring over two years of experience as a General Chemistry instructor at the college level, where I held office hours, led one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, and helped students improve their grades, often from failing to passing. Beyond chemistry, I have two years of tutoring experience in high school math and science. With a perfect score on the SAT Math section and a solid background in algebra, I’m well-equipped to guide students through challenging concepts and coursework.
