"I'm Christine! I have a Master's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics, and have been teaching high school math for the last 13 years. The courses I have taught include AP Statistics, Statistics, Integrated Mathematics (combines Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry) both on level and enriched levels, Algebra II, and AP Calculus AB. My high-school classes have included all grade levels from freshman to senior.
In addition to my classroom teaching, I have taught our school’s summer transitional math program for new freshman as well as summer math camps for students in grades 5 through 8. I work one-on-one with students daily both in the classroom and outside of class time. I do my best to meet students where they are. My goal is to help solidify my students' understanding of the concepts at hand while strengthening their mathematical foundations, in addition to helping students stretch their knowledge so they can apply what they have learned.
I want to benefit the students I work with and make the best use of their time spent with me. I welcome any resources the student or parent may provide. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a session!" less...
