"Hey there! This is Halim. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Biology from Erciyes University in Turkey in 2007. I love helping people learn about Science. I also have a Master's degree in Education in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in science education.

I believe in the power of strategy, self-motivation, and self-confidence rather than success as a result of potential by birth. I think I can help people develop effective strategies for their learning, own the challenge that lies before them and believe in themselves.

First of all, I love helping others learn Science (particularly biology). I have been teaching Biology for over 10 years to a wide spectrum of learners ranging from 6th grade to adult learners. I am also teaching AP Biology for the last five years after the redesign. I have been involved in curriculum writing for both biology and AP biology for the curriculum my school district follows and I have developed two curriculum units for National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI). My students have always scored well above the state average on standardized tests.
