"Hi there - I'm Limor! I graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. I also have a Master of Education from National University. At Brown, I was. Teaching Assistant for two upper level and required biology courses; I facilitated discussion sections every week for up to twenty students at a time. Additionally, I have taught biology and physiology to high school students for the last two years. As a teacher, I created excellent science curriculum that was inclusive and accessible to all my students and their educational backgrounds. I have experience teaching English, both grammar and vocabulary, through my experiences teaching newcomer students. As a tutor, my focus is to support students in their science education, their English education, and preparing students for standardized tests including the ACT and SAT.

My goal is to support students in reaching and surpassing state requirements and in achieving their personal academic goals. As a tutor, I identify where students need additional support and I personalize their support to reflect their needs. As a teacher, I am experienced in identifying students' knowledge bases and educational backgrounds and how to strengthen their knowledge base to move forward with more complex problems and general academics. My goal is for my students to not only reach their academic goals, but also have fun and enjoy what they are learning.
