"My name is Aseefa! I am a honors graduate in Adolescence Education with a specialization in English, as well as a 2018 Masters of Science in Literacy graduate from St. John’s University. I have a strong interest for educating young minds and developing strong readers, writers, and thinkers. My experience entails working in both the public, private, and charter systems at the middle, high school and college levels, as well as experience outside of the traditional classroom setting. I truly enjoy learning with my students and finding creative and unique ways to teach literature content. Currently, I am a 9th and 10th grade English Language Arts teacher at Townsend Harris High School. This role has afforded me the opportunity to complete the beginning years of my teaching experience.
