"Hi, I’m Emily! I graduated magna cum laude from Saint Leo University in 2020 with a BA in English, and I also hold an MFA in creative writing from the University of Central Florida. I am a published author with two years of experience tutoring students in writing at the college level. Previously, I tutored students one-on-one in a university tutoring center where I primarily helped undergraduate students organize, conceptualize, and polish academic essays. Now, I am excited to bring that experience to a virtual tutoring environment.

I am passionate about helping students find joy in writing and learn to express themselves in the most accurate and enjoyable way possible. My specialty is poetry, but I can guide students through other creative writing processes as well as academic and professional writing.
