"I have recently graduated with my Master's degree in history while planning to go on to History doctorate work. I spent my master's studies as a writing tutor in Suny Brockport's Academic Success Center, helping with a variety of writing styles, citation formats, and writing in various disciplines. I also bring extensive history background at various levels of history. I also am experienced with English and the writing process, and religious studies courses.

In terms of tutoring style, I tend to take the encouraging yet productive route. I am willing to repeat concepts and points to a student's desires and listen to any and all concerns. I believe in students working at a good pace for them as long as they are developing a strong understanding that betters their work. I believe in making the environment comfortable for students while explaining concepts in general first. From there, I prefer to ask the student if they have any questions about where they want to go as part of the lesson. In short, the students concerns drive sessions and develop as they are introduced to ideas and suggestions, again continuing to make sure students have their questions answered at their pace. As a tutor during my time as a Masters student I received repeated positive reviews from students and professors alike and was recognized several times for my positive feedback.

I have also spent time with another tutoring platform, where I hold a 5 star rating in my short time as a contractor. I am mainly experienced with college level students from freshman on up, but also halve experience with high school students and adult learners. Between tutoring, my master studies, and a couple years as an undergrad content tutor, I have accumulated nearly 4 years as a tutor, again with repeated acclaim.
