"I'm a historian and writer with 10+ years of teaching experience at the college level. I earned a PhD in American history but am also literate on European and modern history as well.

Besides being a history content expert, I have a passion for helping students improve their writing. Improving writing and oral communication is a major learning outcome of my courses.

My teaching style is all about first meeting students where they are at, second understanding their goals, and finally third providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they can build confidence in themselves."
