"I am a tutor for many different subjects, including English, History/Social Studies, Art, and lower level math courses such as Algebra. I have worked as a tutor in San Diego for the AVID program which focused on assisting students who were driven to go to college, but did not have the means or support to do so. On a daily basis I worked with students from grades 6-12 on algebra, English (including proofreading research papers, creative writing, and college admission essays), history, and art (painting, film and digital photography are a hobby of mine). I graduated from Mount San Jacinto College with an AA in Art History, and San Diego State University with a BA in Art History as well. I will be tutoring while preparing to enter a teaching credential and Master's in Education program to become a secondary Social Studies teacher.
