"I have been a been a U.S. and World History teacher. I am currently working on my Graduate Certification in Civil War Studies which will then be applied to a Masters Degree in History. I have also had one book published, a non-fiction biography and history of an Indiana soldier. I am currently working on a second book, a biography of a Virginia confederate general.

I have been in the public service business (owned my own restaurant franchise) for the past ten years. I have great communication skills with people of all ages.

I have always enjoyed teaching and instructing whether in a formal classroom setting or in more informal one on one training session.

I feel my background and continued interest in history can be valuable in working with a student or students who may need assistance in this area
