I graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.S. in Secondary Education and a B.A. in chemistry. I also have my M.Ed. from Miami as well. I started teaching 24 years ago at a high school near Cincinnati before moving closer to home at Centerville High School near Dayton. Over the course of my career, I have taught hundreds of students and tutored many along the way with a variety of backgrounds. I love teaching and getting to know my students better. I also enjoy helping students build their confidence with a difficult subject matter like chemistry.
I have a great deal of experience helping students to achieve success in the classroom. I am highly qualified to teach high school introductory chemistry with 24 years experience. I also have over a decade of teaching AP chemistry and organic chemistry experience. I possess the knowledge and skills necessary to take difficult concepts and break them down so they are easier to understand.
