"Hi, I'm Ally! I am a recent Creative Writing and Publishing Arts grad from University of Baltimore. I was a peer leader and writing workshop leader during my time at UB, and my thesis project was a published collection of fictional short stories that I wrote, edited, and fully designed.

I did my undergraduate studies at Thiel College in Greenville, PA, majoring in English Literature and minoring in Performing Arts. While at Thiel, I was a notetaker, in addition to tutoring Western Humanities, a course that covered a wide scope of history, art, music, and literature. I also worked in the student center to help my classmates hone their study skills.

Most recently, I have started to tutor Middle School/Intermediate Language Arts and History. The first thing I like to do with a student is to learn their learning style and help them make adaptations that make sense specifically for them. I then like to help them build a study structure that they can apply to all courses, not just the ones we're working on. In my 9 to 5 job, I also work with educational book distribution, so it's safe to say that I enjoy reading books along with my students as it helps me keep current.
