"I'm Cindy and I graduated from the University of Houston/Clear Lake with a Bachelors in Mathematics. I have taught various levels of math in both a junior high and high school setting. I am very passionate about math and I enjoy interacting with teenagers; therefore, by teaching, I was able to combine two of my very favorite things.

For the past 34 years, I have worked with students both inside and outside of the classroom when they were struggling. I enjoy helping students realize they are capable of being successful in math and encourage them to build upon their strengths and prior knowledge.

I use inquiry-based instruction when tutoring students to help them understand the process of solving the problem instead of just focusing on the answer. I have taught and tutored various levels of math to students ranging from 6th grade to college level. I am very passionate about math; and I enjoy helping all secondary level math subjects.
