"Hi! I'm Bonnie. I love coaching children to success. I have experience working with children grades K-5 on subjects such as spelling, reading, writing and math.

I have training in Leveled Literacy/ Reading Intervention for grades 1-5, which has allowed me to work with children to meet and exceed their required grade level in reading so as to be on parr with the rest of their class.

I believe that reading and writing go hand in hand and when a child is able to read and write well they usually succeed in other academic areas too. I love to read so hope to foster this love in the children I tutor as they are learning.

I am a skilled Learning Guide for homeschool as I have had the joy of homeschooling my own child for grades 2-8 while living abroad. This brought its own set of unique adventures so I understand how to use supplies found at home to explore the world around while adhering to necessary educational standards for each grade. When homeschooling there is a definite need for creativity and self-discipline in order to make homeschooling a rewarding, fun, and successful experience.

I want to benefit the students I work with so encourage parent and student input. I can easily be reached and will provide timely responses.
