"My name is Dustyn! I hold a Class A Master license and a Class A Journeyman license in Minnesota, and have 10 years of experience in the electrical trade. For the past three years I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th year electrical apprenticeship classes. These classes included DC Theory, AC Theory, electrical safety, and in-depth training on the National Electrical Code (general NEC navigation, grounding and bonding, box-fill, motor calculations, transformer calculations, etc.) I have helped dozens of students prepare for their state electrical licensing exam, and move on to being Journeymen Electricians.

My teaching style is based around answering "why?" I have found that if my students understand why something is the way it is, I can remember it and apply it. Over the last three years I have applied this technique in my apprenticeship classes, and have noticed a sharp improvement in the student's grades, as well as their final score on their state licensing exam.

What can you expect in one of my tutoring sessions? I will answer your questions in depth, and make sure you understand. If you are still struggling to grasp a concept, I will find a way to relate it to something you already have an understanding of. I use examples, and even live physical demonstrations when practicable. I will prepare for our meeting ahead of time, and therefore require a twenty-four hour cancellation notice. If you miss a scheduled lesson (no-show), a fee equal to the price of the scheduled lesson will apply.
