"Hello! My name is Chad J. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Memphis and during this time I maintained a 3.7 GPA and was on the Dean's List my entire undergraduate tenure. Currently, I have moved on to study for my Master's Degree in Education with a specific emphasis in middle school mathematics grades 6-8th, and I hold a 4.0 GPA in this Master's Program. The fall semester of 2024 will be my first year as a full-time teacher.
I teach the material in small steps and quiz those steps to ensure the student is grasping the concept. The answer is very important, but knowing how to get the answer is where the main focus is. When it comes to teaching and tutoring I like to make things fun. I use fun tools and activities such as games and interactive quizzes to keep the student interested in learning and having fun while they do so, I feel like students learn more when they are engaged and also when the material is relatable to their own life. My lessons will always ensure the time requested is used wisely and beneficial to the students growth and understanding.
My main goal is to ensure success for the student and piece of mind for the parents. I am easy to reach and will always respond in a timely manner. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule a lesson." less...
