"Hello my name is Alex and I am currently completing my PhD in Chemistry at Tufts University. I Have tutored many students in math and chemistry throughout high school, undergrad, and graduate school. I typically specialize in math and chemistry as I have taken an extensive amount of courses in those areas. I am looking forward to helping new students understand these tricky topics. Personally the best part about taking these classes were when the material clicked and I could answer any questions about these topics. I aim to have this level of an impact on all of my students and focus more on understanding the class materials and less about only answering the questions presented.
I have been taking advanced math classes since middle school and have a minor in mathematics from the University of New Haven. I have tutored students in Algebra for close to 10 years and have the experience necessary to answer any and all questions presented.
Chemistry has been my favorite subject since first taking it in 10th grade. I immediately enrolled in the college level course and haven't looked back. After getting my bachelors in chemistry I decided to pursue a PhD in chemistry research. I have been tutoring in chemistry for about 8 years and have taught general chemistry recitations and labs as part of my PhD.
