"I have a master's degree in mathematics and love to teach. I have been tutoring math and physics students since 2012. Both of these subjects can be pretty tough, and I am passionate about helping students to really understand and succeed at them. I have had success tutoring elementary school, junior high, high school, college, and post-graduate students. I teach all levels of math and physics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, finite math, statistics, linear algebra, abstract algebra, real analysis, topology, differential equations, discrete math, probability, and physics (both high school and college).
In addition to 10 years of tutoring experience, I spent several semesters teaching calculus at The Ohio State University. I was a recipient of the 2018 First Year Teaching Award, presented by The Ohio State University Math Department for excellence in teaching. The award was based on a combination of faculty reviews and student evaluations.
I am a National Merit Scholar Finalist, and I obtained perfect scores on the math portions of both the SAT and GRE exams. I am happy to tutor students who need help with course work, or who want to be better prepared for a standardized test.
I take great pleasure in getting to know my students and helping them to succeed. I love tutoring, am very patient, and enjoy working with students who are at any level of mathematical or physics ability." less...
