"Hi there, I'm Hamed. I am a financial services professional with a Mathematics and Civil Engineering degree from New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology respectively. I graduated with honors across all my degrees. With a passion for helping peers and students master math and science topics, I have become an experienced tutor with high success in improving my students' grades and assisting with assignments.

Given my quantitative background and tutoring experience, I excel at simplifying math and physics topics to high school and college students. My approach is to explain concepts to students by working through concepts. I look forward to helping you with your educational needs. My recent experiences include tutoring teaching 10th grader with teaching Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry lessons and completing relevant assignments. Similarly, I have taught 10th and 11th graders physics I and II courses. I have also assisted many school juniors/ seniors with SAT prep on the Math sections. Being a math major during my college years, I was also a tutor with my school's Academic Support Center where I assisted my peers in understanding concepts of Probability and Statistics, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.
