"I have been tutoring for almost a decade (since I was 16), both independently and through companies. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school to college as well as adults. I also have experience working with students who have attention disorders and special needs. At Appalachian State University I tutored for 3 semesters before I transferred to NC State. I tutored basic math all the way to calculus II and a few physics courses. I conducted individual as well as group tutoring sessions. I also led help labs for math and physics where students could come and ask questions during a set time.
Since then I have tutored all levels of math up to calculus 3 through wyzant and my private tutoring practice.
Math is something I have always been very passionate about so being able to share that passion and help students is what I love most about tutoring. Tutoring can be a challenge at times but what keeps me coming back is how rewarding it is to make a difference for someone else.
