"Hello! My name is Ashish, and I recently graduated Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Applied Mathematics and Biology. I graduated high school as valedictorian and earned 5’s in AP Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Biology, Chemistry and Physics 1. During college, I took many advanced math and science courses that deepened my understanding of the material, which enables me to confidently tutor other students in these STEM fields.

I have more than 3 years of experience tutoring high-school and college students in STEM subjects. The majority of that time has been spent teaching pre-calculus and calculus topics in both group and one-on-one settings. Over the years, I have gained a thorough understanding of common stumbling blocks and strategies to overcome them. Based on the student’s needs, I will endeavor to create a lesson plan that truly solidifies the foundational understanding of the content, so that they will not feel the pressure to memorize too many formulas or specific problem types.
