"Hi, I'm Ishya! I graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Spanish. My history with math is a surprising one - I wasn't always good at it. In grade school, my school always focused on memorization of problem sets, while I wanted to find out more on the "why" and the "how" of math. Everything changed when I took my first calculus class in high school. For the first time, math "clicked," and I earned an A. That class inspired me to major in math in college, where I also explored statistics and saw how mathematical foundations connect to real-world applications.

During college, I tutored for two years and used a study technique I learned from my favorite professor: break down theories, create frameworks for problem types, and practice relentlessly. I believe understanding the basics is key; memorization only gets you so far. My goal is to demystify math and stats by breaking them into simple, relatable parts and showing how they shape our everyday world.
