"Hello, I'm Tyler. I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering. In my undergrad, I focused on Embedded Systems and Control Systems. During my undergrad degree I took a plethora of math courses (calculus 1 through 4), coding classes, and engineering classes focused in electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering. A common theme with these classes, especially at the University of Michigan, is that they are incredibly hard to tackle alone. I aim to help people with classes, from people who are struggling alone and are unsure of what to do, to people who just want to be able to have someone to help them further their knowledge.
I have worked as a tutor, teaching assistant, and instructor during my time at the University of Michigan. During the summers at the University of Michigan was the teaching assistant for incoming freshmen who had incoming Calculus 1 and 2 credits. The goal was to refresh on concepts from Pre-Calc, Calc 1, and Calc 2 and to prepare for U of M math. During the semester, I worked part time as a tutor focusing on classes in programming and electrical engineering. The summer of my graduation I worked as the Computer Science Instructor for incoming freshman to refresh and learn basic coding knowledge. In total, I have roughly 4 years of tutoring experience both online and in person.
I aim to help students reach their goals during my sessions, therefore I am open to any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. Feel free to contact me with any questions, or to schedule a lesson." less...
