"Hello, my name is Zachary, and I am a current Sophomore at Cedarville University pursuing a degree in Cyber Operations. My goal is to uncover the way in which each student learns best so that I can not only teach them well but in a way that increases retention. For example, I learn with pictures, and I remember a wide variety of things by linking them with pictures related to that particular thing. Understanding this is crucial to the learning process and would have benefited me greatly if my teachers had known this. After learning how a student learns best, I will tailor a lesson plan in a way that capitalizes on this so that the student learns more efficiently and deeply.

Now you might be wondering "Why would I pick this young tutor when there so many other tutors that seem more experienced". To answer this, it is important to note that youth does not always correlate with experience. I have years of tutoring experience because most classes I have taken people have needed lots of help and I have spent countless hours walking underclassman and peers through different subjects. One of the main subjects I have experience tutoring is Calculus as well as Algebra and Precalculus. I achieved a high A in each of these classes some of which are college classes. I achieved a 1520 on the SAT while getting a 790 on the math portion of the test. If you are interested in languages, I do teach Latin. I have taken 10 years of Latin as well as having completed the National Latin exam on 6 different occasions while receiving a bronze medal or higher. In addition, if you are interested in coding, I have just completed 2 semesters of C++ at my University and I could easily walk you through the basics of it or object-oriented C++. One of the C++ projects I have completed is creating a simple ai to play battleship.
