"Hello, prospective student! I am a Math and Physics teacher with 20 years of experience spanning classroom teaching, private tutoring, and Gifted and Talented programs. I presently tutor over 35 hours a week in Math, Science, and test prep (ACT, SAT, and ISEE). I have a Master's in Physics Education from the University of Virginia, with an additional 15 graduate credits in Mathematics, holding dual teaching certification in Math and Physics. I published a book called "SAT Math for the Garden State" and used to have a contract job writing the ACT Science section. I also run a summer course in ISEE at Montclair Co-Op, which I started in 2018. I make myself available to my students, answering frantic text messages at 11pm, and occasionally meeting as early as 4:45am (during Finals week, don't ask...)!

I specialize in demystifying challenging math and physics concepts by explaining concepts as clearly as possible, performing examples in order to model the problem-solving process, and providing several practice problems to work up to mastery.
