"Hi! My name is Josh and I have my Bachelors and Masters in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I have a concentration in Spacecraft Systems and minors in Astronomy and Applied Mathematics. I've been a professional math tutor for over 10 years and have experience tutoring all levels of math. I've tutored at Saint Petersburg College, Mathnasium, Embry-Riddle, and private practice. In addition, I’ve been an adjunct professor in Physics 2, Physics 1 online lab, and Physics 2 online lab at Saint Pete College. I currently work as a high school teacher where I teach AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M), AP stats, Calculus, and physics.
Everyone learns differently but everyone is taught the same way. This easily sparks into pure frustration of trying and failing to understand something. The product -- lack of motivation and strong disinterest for learning. From tutoring elementary, middle, high schoolers, and college students, I see it all the time. However, having someone who can help speak and explain something confusing in simple terms makes all the difference in the world. Instilling a conformable learning environment and working until I see the "Aha" expression is what I love doing and will continue to do.
