"I'm Michael. I have a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and also an MBA - all from UCLA. I've been tutoring math and science since I was in high school and have countless success stories. Remind me to tell you about my *very* math-challenged roommate after college who had to pass Statistics to get his graduate degree. He didn't pass...he got an A!!! He still thanks me for that even to this day.

In addition to a lot of tutoring, I am an adjunct professor of Strategy at Seattle University School of Business and Economics. So, I know how to interact with and engage students.

As mentioned above, my tutoring is proven to work. I've tutored probably close to 100 people by now in all levels of math and the results are always there. Whether it's understanding a concept, being able to pass a test, getting a higher score on a standardized test, help with homework - the way I explain math concepts to people is clear, detailed (as needed), and with patience. Most recently, I've been doing drop-in math tutoring at a local high school.
