"Hello, I'm Rakshak!

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience. Over the years, I’ve gained diverse tutoring experiences that have shaped my ability to guide and support students in their learning journeys effectively.

I’ve worked with groups of 5-10 students from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade in subjects like ELA, math, and public speaking. This role taught me the value of individualized learning approaches, especially when addressing varying levels of understanding within a group. I’ve also tutored high school chemistry one-on-one, where I developed personalized lesson plans, provided step-by-step guidance, and ensured knowledge retention through targeted practice.

Currently, I serve as a teaching assistant for an EMT program at UT Dallas. In this role, I help students bridge didactic knowledge with real-world applications in the field, transitioning my teaching style to support adults preparing to enter the workforce.

Beyond academic tutoring, I’ve also had the privilege of coaching basketball for 10th–12th graders. This was one of my most rewarding experiences as it allowed me to mentor players on and off the court, fostering growth in their athletic and personal lives.
