"I have MS in Organic Chemistry and during my time in school I tutored students in Chemistry and various other subjects. I was a Teaching Assistant for the 3 years during my masters and enjoyed teaching. It gave me an opportunity to not only improve my teaching style, but it was a challenging experience. In a class setting, it was always important to ensure that every student understood the lesson. Thus, it was imperative to make the lesson interactive and comprehensive as possible.

This is something that I have encompassed in my tutoring. As a former student, I understand what student seeks in tutoring. Having tutored for more than 8 years now, each student I have had is a different experience. Each student is unique in the help that they need and how best you can help them succeed. That’s the great thing about one-on-one tutoring. It’s geared towards you, the student. My approach is geared to enhance your strengths and work on your weaknesses. Test Prep

Standardized tests are a way of life nowadays. We all have gone through one or several; it’s a process that is easy for others and hard for others. I strive to make it as easy as possible. I offer tutoring for SAT, ACT, SAT II Subject Tests, PSAT, TOEFL, MCAT, PCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and GRE Chemistry. I have taken some of the highly requested tests such as MCAT, PCAT, and GRE and scored in the top 5 percentile in all three. I also offer help in AP exams in the Sciences and Math.

K-12 Coursework

I specialize in tutoring high school science and math: biology, chemistry, physics, and math through calculus.

College Coursework

I offer tutoring in most chemistry classes from General Chemistry to Physical Chemistry II. I offer first and second-year Biology classes. In Math, I can tutor from Pre-Algebra to Differential Equations. I also offer some general education classes such as Logic and can help in areas such as study skills and time management.
