You hear a lot of students saying "Math is too hard" or "Math is not for me" or "I hate Math" etc. I totally understand that but actually, with the right approach, every student can be successful with math and have fun. Years of experience with working in private and public school settings and teaching students with many different multicultural backgrounds enabled me to easily identify students' needs and learning styles. Each student is unique and you need use the right approach for each student to develop mastery in each concept. In short I am very good at making math concepts easier for my students and help them gain their confidence, be comfortable and enjoy the math.

I am a certified math teacher for 4th through 12th grades with 27 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Pre-Calculus. I have exceptional skills to make math easier for all level students.

Knowing a math concept is one thing but answering a test question correctly about the same concept is totally a different ball game. I am really good at teaching test taking strategies, guiding them to discover the right approach to solve the questions and how to identify tricks and traps with the answer choices.

I had a student who never trusted her knowledge, never passed any Staar test in the past and all she wanted to do was to copy the work from certain students she thought they were right. That particular student not only passed the Staar test but missed the mastery level by only 1 question. I have many examples like that.
