"Hey there! I’m a graduate of Pomona College and Phillips Academy Andover. I have 4 years of math tutoring experience in everything from Algebra 1, to ACT/SAT prep, to Differential Equations and Combinatorics. I received my degree in mathematics and wrote my thesis on “Engaging Student Epistemologies in Mathematical Pedagogy''. Additionally, I have experience in the classroom, having taught high school precalculus. I was also selected to serve as a Writing Fellow in the Pomona College Writing Center. In this role, I garnered over 400 hours of essay-editing and application consulting. I helped students receive admission to selective institutions such as Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Brown, etc.

As a tutor, I bring energy, efficiency and adaptability. I played collegiate soccer and my background as an athlete informs my approach to tutoring. I enter each session with energy; I’m excited to teach and my students sense that right away. My sessions are efficient, I’ll show up prepared to make the most out of the time we have together. Finally, I’m adaptable and employ a student-centered methodology. I get to know my students and work hard to craft a learning model that works for each individual.
