My name is Baraa, and my passion is helping students excel in mathematics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from MIT, where I graduated with a GPA of 4.8/5.0. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Theoretical Mathematics at The Ohio State University (OSU), with a perfect GPA of 4.0/4.0. My academic journey has been marked by excellence and recognition, including membership in the MIT chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and a Distinguished University Fellowship at OSU.

I have extensive teaching experience, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at both OSU and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, starting in 2020. I have taught recitations in Calculus I & II, Trigonometry, and Linear Algebra. Moreover, I have been tutoring mathematics (and other subjects) since my undergraduate years at MIT, where I also taught a short course on Arabic.

I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of mathematics in my students, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
