"Hello all, my name is Chareece! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a 4.0 GPA.I have been working at a CPA firm for several years. Also, I am a substitute teacher. As an undergraduate student, I was mentored by a teacher. I grew to admire the way her teaching methods made the class enjoyable. She was always fully engaged and willing to go that "extra mile" to ensure complete clarification of the material. I like to bring this knowledge and experience into my tutoring approach. I like to empower students to build on their strengths.

I introduce topics in a fun and creative way, then teach the material explicitly. Afterwards, I allow time for the student to practice the material on their own. I adjust my tutoring method based on the subject and individual needs of the student.

I have five years of experience in a classroom setting to which I was a teacher's aide. I taught High School level prealgebra and algebra I. Also, I tutored algebra at the library after school on a one-on-one basis. I worked directly with any students who needed additional assistance. On Saturdays, I had a small focus group of 5-10 high school students. I tutored three autistic high school students for three years on a one-on-one basis in prealgebra, algebra I, and algebra II. I have three years of tutoring experience in elementary math and reading on a one-on-one basis at an after school learning facility. I have two years of tutoring experience working with two elementary students with dyslexia. I have eight years of tutoring experience in college algebra on a one-on-one basis in a tutoring center on campus. Also, I have eight years of tutoring experience in accounting (financial and managerial) in both a classroom setting by side an Associate Professor and one-on-one basis in a tutoring center on campus. Additionally, I have held tutoring sessions everyday after school where students could come for homework help for the past three years.
