"I’m Kathleen! I have been a math teacher and tutor for 18 years and have a Master's degree in Math Education. I have also tutored for 18 years and specialize in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, SAT, and ACT. I pride myself in helping prepare my students get accepted into the college of their choice getting high scores on the SAT and ACT. I love tutoring because it enables me to really get to know my students on a personal level as well as on an academic level. I always make sure to have fun in our sessions so that my students want to come back and learn more math!! I will adapt my lessons to individual learning styles as I know that everyone learns differently and at different speeds. Whether it be helping with homework and teaching a lesson, I will tailor my lessons accordingly.
