"Hello! I’m Miss Rachel! As we are moving into the summer of 2022, I have just finished my seventh year of teaching. I have taught fourth grade ELA and Reading but a majority of my career has been in sixth grade. My growing passion for teaching writing and reading to students with a goal of their specific needs and interests in mind make me the right tutor for you!

A little more about Miss Rachel: My husband and I welcomed our son, Bentley, into this world last March. Bentley is such a sweetheart and loves our two dogs, Sadie and Tucker. We enjoy going for walks, reading books and playing with anything that will make noise!

My daily lesson plans always focus on the skills of reading, writing and vocabulary. My experience in each of these areas not only benefit my students, but will surely benefit you as well! I have experience in tailoring lessons to specific student needs even with having 60+ students to reach each year. Tailoring a lesson to you or your child’s specific needs will be my number one focus if you decide that you would like to work together!
