"I'm Akash! I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I currently work as a cybersecurity consulting analyst for a major tech company. I have acquired several Microsoft Azure certifications within the field(s) of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Through my workplace, I've hosted several Junior Achievement "personal branding" sessions for middle-high school aged students, mentoring them in public speaking & early career guidance. Additionally, I've taught tech practitioners security strategies as part of a SC100 certification course.

From a young age, I’ve always believed in the power of education as a transformative tool. My passion for tutoring stems from a profound realization that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge but about building confidence and opening doors to new opportunities. I vividly remember my teacher, Ms. Kirk, patiently guiding me through challenging concepts, turning confusion into clarity. That experience was pivotal; it not only enhanced my understanding but also ignited a desire within me to give back in a similar way.

Previously, I was an academic tutor for Connections Academics based out of Cincinnati, OH. I had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, each with unique learning needs and goals. For example, I worked with a middle school student in a classroom setting covering a range of subjects (English, mathematics, science, reading comprehension). By breaking down complex concepts such as expository writing and story analysis into more manageable parts, I was able to help him build a stronger foundation and improve their academic performance. My second client was a college student who was struggling with a physics elective. Through one-on-one sessions at his home, I utilized a variety of visual aids and color coding to help nail down the remainder of his curriculum.
